My Friday Five for March 22, 2002

1. What is your favorite time of year?
   I think I'd have to say spring.

2. What is it about your favorite season that, well, makes it your favorite season?
   It's fairly impressive to see everything suddenly turn green, but it really has more to do with the weather. In spring, temperatures climb back into a reasonable range and there are thunderstorms... I just love thunderstorms! (Hi, Thor...)

3. What is your least favorite time of year? Why?
   Winter. Snow can be fun, but cold sucks. Big time.

4. Do you do anything to celebrate or recognize the changing of seasons?
   Personally, I tend to just let them go by, since days on the calendar are pretty well meaningless to me, but Runehof generally holds a blot near each change of season, so I tend to observe them indirectly in that fashion.

5. What's your favorite thing to do outside?
   Standing in an area where the rain is largely blocked and enjoy the fury of a good storm - watching the lightning, listening to the thunder, and feeling the energy of the wind as it howls past.
