My Friday Five for April 4, 2003

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
   I can distinctly remember 16 and there are 2 gaps (until I was 6 and from 7-8) that I don't recall, which probably add another 2-4 places. We moved around a lot when I was a kid...

2. Which was your favorite and why?
   The townhouse in Eagan where I lived from 1997-2000 or so. It just felt good, plus I suppose it's also a plus that it was far enough out to feel almost rural, while also being in close enough to the city that it didn't take forever to drive anywhere.

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
   I find moving to be more of a pain in the ass than anything else, because I have too much crap to haul around with me. (I guess that qualifies as "stressful"...)

4. What's more important, location or price?
   Location.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
   Hmm... Lots of wooded land, hardwood floors, multiple fireplaces, hot tub, harrow (handmade by me), good network connectivity, decent access to civilization while also being isolated enough to keep civilization from intruding.
